About Me

I am currently a senior at Jacksonville State University majoring in Communications with a Focus on Digital Media Production and a Minor in Sociology. At Jax State, I am currently the Vice President of our NAACP chapter, the House Pro Tempore for the YMCA Collegiate Legislator, an SSC 101 Mentor, and the Hopeful Hand Initiative Co-Founder.

Outside of my extracurriculars at Jax State, I also host my radio show here on campus called What's The Move? It is a show where I host discussions about pop culture and the way that it connects to the issues we see in young people. I also dive into black culture and work to weave in the black experience here on campus in each episode. On the air, I serve as the moderator and facilitator of the conversations with my guests. Outside of this, I write for the school paper and film newsreels. But mostly I am working to become well-versed in all forms of media.

At Jax State, I have received many awards and accomplished so much.
